Our Physician is a specialist in Adult Neurology. Neurologists specialize in the diagnosis and medical treatment of diseases of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Dr. Schultz provides consultations, electrodiagnostic testing and follow-up medical care in the out-patient office setting. He provides in-patient neurological consultations and medical treatment at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia. Dr. Schultz sees patients 13 years of age and older for conditions such as, migraine headaches, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, strokes, brain tumors, head trauma, back injuries, peripheral neuropathy and other neurologic diseases.

Electronic Medical Records
Here at Santa Clarita Neurology Medical Group, Inc., we utilize the Aprima PRM Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management software. Aprima PRM Electronic Health Records are CCHIT certified and Medicare compliant. The meaningful use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) is recommended by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a way to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of patient health care. We use the Electronic Prescribing function, or E-Prescribing to send your prescription orders electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. Most major pharmacies in the area as well as some mail- order pharmacies have E-Prescribing. Please bring the name, phone number and address of your pharmacy with you to the office or complete the pharmacy information on the “Patient Information Form”.
